Growing up in Powell River, Kat had the luxury of experiencing a childhood in a warm community which gave her opportunities at a young age to give back. From volunteering as a Candy Striper to volunteering with other youth in the school district to provide educational seminars for her peers, she would jump at any opportunity to offer her services. After leaving in 2000, post graduation, she moved across the country and purchased her first home when she was 19, in Mississauga, Ontario and subsequent investment properties in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Occasionally landing in Powell River en route to other adventures that took her to living in Mexico, living on a boat and sailing it from Port Alberni to Victoria, to condo living downtown Victoria, she was permanently called home with her own family in 2009.
She has resided in Powell River now for nine years with two sons and husband. In that time she worked as a Health Care Assistant, served as Chief Steward and Chair for HEU, volunteers as the PAC treasurer for her sons’ school and sat on the board for Hands Across the Water who were instrumental in bringing one of the Syrian refugee families to Powell River last year.
Powell River has afforded her family the opportunity to give their children the childhood she had, in a growing community that still has that warmth and generous heart she always has loved. Every career Kat has had, has been in service of others. She has a passion for helping people and that translates well in Real Estate and especially with working as part of the Royal LePage team.
We all have our vision of what we want our lives to look like, and finding the perfect home for you is quintessential. Kat feels strongly that Powell River can make those dreams a reality and she looks forward to helping you see those dreams realized.
